My first time attending the Game Developers’ Conference in San Francisco, and I had such a blast! Here are some of the highlights of my experience :D
Going around GDC alone instead of with friends. No, I’m not antisocial – it’s just that it’s so much easier to talk to people and go for whatever talks/demos/parties I want without having to worry about pangseh-ing (sort of means abandon in Singlish) my friends. Met so many awesome devs there from all my random chats! Definitely gonna do this for all the conferences I go to in future :D
Update: 2 new destinations have been added! Japan (Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Tokyo), and Taiwan (Taipei, Koahsiung, Taichung). If you don’t want to travel, you can choose to receive $400 F&B vouchers or $400 Capitaland vouchers.
Disclaimer: I am in no way benefiting from this – I don’t even qualify for the offer T.T just doing my job as a class ambassador and publicising this for NUSS The Graduate Club (:

After almost a month’s hiatus, I’m back! :D
Haha so yesterday, my family took a short afternoon trip to Johor Bahru City Square Mall. It was supposed to be a day trip, but I forgot to set an alarm and they only woke me up 10min before the originally planned set off time so… Haha oops.
You may be wondering, 1 entire afternoon at City Square? Won’t we get bored? I thought so too, until I went there and saw all the cheap shopping! Apparently it’s the Great Malaysian Sale period now, (according to Yong Jie) so there were huge discounts everywhere :D
How we managed to spend the entire afternoon at City Square :P except the cost for me is always really low and I take forever to explore caves in game too hmm.
